[AS] Recipe for Beealyzer and Treealyzer not working, what am I doing wrong?

First time trying to make these items. Following the recipe in NEI. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? I tried with both copper and tin. I know the carpenter itself works because I've made other things with it. I know these recipes require two buckets of water but I can't place two in the fluid input slot. Do I need to pipe water in instead?

EDIT: I tried piping water in and it still doesn't work - won't accept the water.
