Tinker Table + Power Items Glitch out

Every time I try to use my Power Fist, or enter my Tinker Table, my screen spazzes. It glitches, and the screen starts to blink rapidly. The Tinker Table will show up, but it is only a green screen along with a blue line on the left side. I can hit the escape key, but when it does that my screen glitches out even more. I will then exit the tinker table, but I am given a VERY small window in which to see my Minecraft. The rest of my screen is frozen.
